About the role
As an International Multidisciplinary Design Manager, you will have a central role in the management of complex projects in construction and infrastructure in an international arena. You are responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and delivery, and leading the dialogue between different parties through all phases of the project. The position involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and an opportunity to influence future projects from a global perspective.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate design work in large and complex projects.
- Ensure utility requirements from process equipment are defined and scrutinized
- Coordinate working groups in different disciplines such as technical project managers, CSA, MEP, IT, and other identified stakeholders.
- Ensure that project plans, schedules, and budgets are kept.
- Establish and follow up documentation and reporting according to international standards.
- Drive quality and sustainability issues throughout the design process.
- Act as a point of contact with customers, partners and authorities.
Qualifications
- Relevant university education, such as a Master of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Documented experience of design management in international contexts, preferably in complex manufacturing industry (for example pharma, battery, foodtech).
- Good knowledge of laws, regulations and standards in building and construction, both nationally and internationally.
- Good ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders in accordance with set goals
- Communicative and structured with the ability to inspire teams.
- Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing. Other languages are meritorious.
